A night to remember. Fire, smores, children, the ice-maker, a dog. A green glider that was possessed. Too much fun on a Saturday night without pictures. I'm sorry the camera didn't make an appearance, but perhaps our own memories will suffice. I received a tea-set from Santa Clause, the Pirate. Other gifts included an i-pod and a steak. Wow, I'm sore...
Biscuit the cat, the wonderful, wonderful cat is at it again: he held a massacre in my bathroom- again. There was blood all over the floor as well as pieces of, well... shudder... i just won't say. This time we saw what he was sacrificing to the great cat in the sky. I won't say what it was, except that, well,Mr. McGregor would be proud.
Today was the first exam in my current math class. It was easy 'cept a big old problem involving how many grains of sand in the Sahara desert. Oh my.... I'm pretty sure I got it right after a quick polling after class. I will let you know. My teacher lets us pick 6 out of 10 questions to answer. This is really cool but strange in that I seem to answer the ones that others don't wanna. Like doing the graphs (scatter plots, box 'n whiskers, etc).
I love stats! Next we're studying probabilities.
Oh, and I volunteered to work a college information day today and had to wear the dorkiest blue T-shirt along w/ nice, shiny black pants.
I've told some one you about the trip to Dallas to visit a band, "MuteMath" that Levi has been working and touring with for several months. I've also told some of you about the drummer and how he 'ducts tapes headphones to his head'. Tis true, folks:
You used to dream yourself away each night To places that you'd never been On wings made of wishes That you whispered to yourself Back when every night the moon and you Would sweep away to places That you knew Where you would never get the blues
