doctor said to comfort me ('cause I was freaking out a bit): "have you ever plucked your eye-brows? that's what it feels like when staples are being removed"
that, my friends is an incorrect statement*. it hurts. not even close to the amount that taking the 12" drain tube out(double-dose shot of morphine required), but it hurts none-the-less.
*this of course depends entirely on if you find plucking out eyebrows as being painful. i do not.
