Update:
I attended Introduction to Outdoor Leadership Skills (IOLS) training for Boy Scouts. This training is designed to develop outdoor camping skills of scout leaders and focuses on troop structure, camping, scouting skills, outdoor cooking.
It also happens to be "mind-numbingly boring".
Me and my tent:

My first dutch-oven dish:

My patrol was called "Geezer Patrol" and was made up of me and 6 really old men... (they thought they were anyway). I refused to be a Geezer but agreed to make the flag (wool-felted, tutorial to follow...). Even though I was forced to use the dutch-oven, I refused to cook for my patrol but instead opted to clean after all meals (scout-style consisting of three tubs- hot soap, hot rinse and cold rinse w/ bleach). The Geezers seemed happy with this arrangement. It's amazing what a man can and will cook in the great outdoors...
I mastered lots of scout skills and received the only '100' in orienteering and was the first to make a true fire. Of course the Geezer flag won first place in the Flag Competition and the whole patrol took first in the Dutch-Oven Dessert Presentation Competition. Oh, and we had the Best Overall Campsite.
Am I overexaggerating? NO. Am I bragging? YES
Why? Because it was a weekend to be endured that began Friday afternoon and ended Sunday afternoon... Truly brutal when I should be/could be studying.
The only thing I have to say is that Henry had better become Eagle after this :)
Oh, and only 50% of the weekend was "mind-numbingly boring"...
